Earnings Date Alerts

What is the best way to receive an alert to find out when a company has just announced its earnings date? Is there a tool in IB or TOS that can do this or perhaps another way? Have been manually visiting Yahoo but it's quite time consuming to check symbol by symbol each day.

I asked TOS, and it looks like you can create an alert in Marketwatch.   But it sounds like it's more of a reminder of when earnings will occur.

You could try this and set it to alert one week before and see how that works.  They said there's nothing specific to set a alert when the company confirms the date.

If you go to marketwatch and calendar. Put in the symbol in questio and then below the calendar you will see a text list of events. Left click on any even labeled "Earnings" and in the window that appears there is a 'Create Alert' button.

You can subscribe to alerts directly on company website (investor relations section). I usually check in optionslam.com and then confirm on company website.
