T-0 is the last day before earnings, the day at which you have to close positions by the end of the day to avoid holding through earnings. For earnings reports after market close, T-0 is the same day. For earnings reports before the market opens, T-0 is the day before.

Hello SO community, I have a watchlist of approximately 115 candidates that I evaluate (i.e. view return - matrices and RV charts) every earnings cycle. These are candidates that I've deemed ideal for my personal risk tolerance/return goals. I conduct a comprehensive review (i.e. remove or add candidates) of this list once a year. Occasionally, I'll add a few new candidates derived from the weekly emails/daily alerts sent by @Kim @Yowsterand @krisbee. With that in mind, I'm curious to know how fellow SO members update their watchlist of earnings candidates? Specifically, how frequently do you update?

This video describes a trade on NFLX before earnings. The rationale was to take advantage of the increased volatility in our option by initiating this earnings play. We will show you in this video why this trade had a bad risk/reward despite inflated IV. Download video: How NOT to Trade $NFLX Earnings.wmv
