  1. Same here, have not been able to login since 7:30am (EST), quite lamentable
  2. $40/mo flat fee for options / $20/mo flat fee for stocks ---> $60/mo flat fee for options & stocks
  3. @anand331 thanks for sharing, I was planning to open an acc, but no streaming realtime quotes is indeed a deal-breaker
  4. what was the strike and how much time premium was given up ?
  5. You mean 20K right? Say an average of 10.50cr, equals 20K
  6. Yeh, the IB support guy told me that sometimes the package gets broken, if an update is not installed properly
  7. @Yowster forgot to mention this, if you were to re-intall TWS, don't forget to save your settings first in a separate file, (I am sure you won't, but just in case)
  8. had no problems today (am in Europe), I still log in with the Security Code Card, so don't think not having the mobile app authentication would cause this problem, but I remember having this problem a few months ago, contacted IB support, they advised me to re-install TWS, after that problem was solved
  9. might be better to address this post to @Djtux

  11. @clems - is it $20 or $29.95 ? Before I switched to TH I paid $29.95/month for Trend
  12. Yes started having this issue yesterday after close
  13. THO announced (on Oct31) a PRELIMINARY EARNINGS RELEASE DATE for Nov27 (see link) http://ir.thorindustries.com/press-release-and-events-calendar/press-releases/press-release-details/2017/Thor-Announces-Preliminary-Earnings-Release-Date-q118/default.aspx final ER date should be confirmed next week
  14. @Bull3t007 Yes, I trade exclusively on computer , so tbh I wouldn't know if there is a mobile app. But the Tradier people are quite helpful, so if you contact them they'll be able to tell you. Their e-mail : service@tradierbrokerage.com
  15. @Bruce411 - So you have TradeHawk Pro platform for $49/ month. For trading itself you have the choice : a) .35 per contract or b) $40 flat fee for unlimited option trades (for SO members). It all depends on the numbers of contracts you'll trade. Since a few months I have TradeHawk Pro + the flat fee for SO members.
  16. @Bruce411 - According to the Tradier website $49 for TradeHawk Pro still applies (see link, have to scroll down a bit). Maybe Lex meant $89/month for TradeHawk Pro including the SO flat fee rate (at $40) for unlimited option trades. https://brokerage.tradier.com/platforms/tradehawk
  17. same here, ONE crashes when trying to synchronize with IB datafeed
  18. I have Maximize Fill but I assume that there is no distinction between single and multi leg
  19. @Djtux In TW > Edit tab > global configuration > orders > smart routing , in the smart routing screen you can select your preference (ranging from Maximize Rebate to Maximize Fill)
  20. @Noah Katz - also when the underlying starts to move, this would hurt the calendar and the short strangle would (most) likely hurt the trade even more.
  21. @clems - thanks for your answer I just signed up for TH. To get the real feel, best is to get "behind the wheel".
  22. @pnd4pnd - this is what I have (see screenshot) - "CME Real-Time" (under Level 1 (NBBO) only applies if you want to have/ see ES (E-mini S&P500 futures) real time, so this is optional.
  23. @clems - Thank you for your detailed answer. what is an 'active' account ? is it funds in account or number of traded contracts/ month ? Regarding the 20 option chains in Trend : the issue is that nor the expiration, nor the strikes are saved (as selected), so when you switch to another ticker you simply get the expirations of previous ticker and strikes are default around ATM. I’ve seen the “wisp” in a demo, but I don’t like the fact that you have to switch tabs to see different expirations. Like in IB one can have for certain selected strikes all selected expirations on 1 screen, so in one blink of eye you can see/calculate the real mid (of a spread).
  24. @clems - I am considering to switch from Trend to Tradehawk. There are quite a few things in Trend that are annoying. (I'm used to the IB platform). A few questions regarding TradeHawk : is there a sound signal when an order is (partially) filled ? can one pause/ reactivate orders can one edit qty once order is placed can one have/save optionchain for mutiple tickers, so one tab per ticker (like the tabs in IB's OptionTrader), in Trend one can have only one at the time which is quite ridiculous, in IB I have around 35/40 tabs open. do you see current positions (short and long) in the optionchain for that ticker ? is it possible to have only manually selected strikes and expiration, instead of having the default "2 or 3 strikes around ATM" is there a trade log (with time stamp) in TradeHawk, (In Trend you have a log but no time stamp, even the Apex confirms have no time stamp) is there a MID in the optionchain (In Trend you have only Bid and ask, no MID) Thanks
