  1. Yea - Unfortunately, I have to run windows frequently for work and use Parallels. So that wasn't much of a problem, but I avoid Windows wherever I can. Kim, regarding pricing, I have some screenshots to show my point. The SO support folks tell me it is because they use mid-prices, but IB uses last price. I don't think that is the case. In IB, all three prices are shows (bid, ask, mid), and ONE does not match any of them. In fact, some of the trades the mid price is not even close to the mid shown in IB. At times, it is so far off, IB will not even accept the order when placed through ONE since the price is so far out of range. I just had a tour of the new IB interface today, so am slowly getting to know that and looks pretty good. A lot more features than TOS, but definitely a slow learning curve.
  2. I've had a trial of ONE software for the last month. I think I'm going to let it lapse without signing up. I have not found the value in this software yet. If they allow, I offered to pay 1 more month on a trial basis to see if I can find the value or work through the bugs. - This does not accurately get pricing data from IB. Because of this, using ONE to manage positions is misleading and not accurate. - Using ONE to enter orders into IB is also rather pointless. It does not get accurate real-time pricing from IB. It incorrectly shows the mid-point of the trade. In 100% of my trades, I've had to go back and manually update the fill prices. - The option chain display is very awkward and not user friendly. This is a very outdated UI. I'm getting sore wrist due to clicking the little arrows back and forth to compare option expirations (with weekly options showing). - The only value I see so far is historical data, but I get that for free with a small account I left in TOS. Then there are the irritations... - No Mobile - Windows only Just my $0.02
  3. I realize the "house" software here is OptionNet Explorer. However, that is a windows-only platform and they do not have mobile support. Surely there is a better option, or at least one that has similar features that runs on multi-platform. Has anyone tried any of the other platforms and compared with ONE software and mind sharing your perspective? Thanks in advance.
  4. I'm in a similar situation...I use a Mac. Although I do have Parallels, I don't like to run Windows programs unless I absolutely have no other choice. Every time I start Windows, it takes 30 minutes while it patches itself and reboots multiple times. In any case, has anyone tried any of the other software recommended by Tradier?
  5. Not sure if this is the best place for this question. However, while waiting for my Interactive Brokers account to be approved and funded, I'm looking at software options. Unfortunately, it looks like ONE software is Windows only. That's a non-starter for me as I run Mac here. Every time I fire up my Windows virtual machine it has to spend 30 minutes patching and rebooting...no thanks. Can anyone recommend any modern software that runs on Mac?
  6. I'm opening an account at IB and wondering if there is a promotion code or partner code to use for SO members?
  7. I never used it even though I used TOS for several years.
  8. Thanks @ChadK, that is some very good information. How could a modern brokerage even survive without support for downloading the trade data into tax software? They might not...I took that for granted. That's definitely a non-starter.
  9. I'm looking to open a new account. I have an invitation request in with TastyWorks, but will also consider IB or Tradier. With rates like these, paying for ONE and even other services would be a no-brainer. Are there any Tradier customers that have had a problem or would recommend against it??
  10. So, anyone worked out just how competitive IB is with negotiated TOS rates, considering you have to spend $700 to get decent software. Seems that erases a lot of those attractive commission rates.
  11. Yikes - after watching this video, the software looks very badly designed. I realize just how spoiled I've been working with TOS for the last few years. I'm looking to move away...the pricing with IB looks appealing, but their software looks horrible.
