  1. well the Tradier website interface is very bare bone, so to trade calendars/ straddles/ verticals it is better to have another platform. Options are : 1) Trend @ $30/month + SO offer ($40/month flat fee for unlimited commission free options trades) or 2) TradeHawk Pro ($49) + SO offer ($40/month flat fee for unlimited commission free options trades). Trend is not bad, but I guess that 2) is the better deal. Maybe others can chime in, b/c I don't know TradeHawk
  2. I wonder, if offers can be combined TradeHawk Pro ($49) + SO offer ($40/month flat fee for unlimited commission free options trades), why would anyone choose the Elite version ?
  3. Does anyone know if Tradier charges a fee for cancelling an order or changing price (after order is placed) ? So far I did not see any fees for cancelling or changing orders, But they might charge on monthly basis ?
  4. yes Trend has indeed these limitations, so : not possible to change quantity once order is placed, but price can be changed though (as mentioned before by @JRR) not possible to pause orders, you have to cancel and then replace order (quite annoying)
  5. @Stanislav - Like you I am not a US citizen or US Permanent Resident. You conclude your post with "I may consider opening a small account in Tradier to take advantage of their API.". Just curious, how would you open an account ?
  6. @Bull3t007 - you should see a tab 'Fees' (see screenshot), and under the list of other fees, you'll see a separate list of cancellation fees.
  7. @Bull3t007 - as @greenspan76 points out the cancellation fee applies to individual options, not to spreads. If you want to double check, you can find your fees under Reports tab > activity > statements > in the statements you'll find a tab 'fees'. If you have paid fees (for cancellation), they should be in there. That being said, I don't think it is really an issue, b/c the cancellation fee is 0.01.
  8. Ok thanks
  9. what deltas do you use for the call spread, or if you have the CMLviz backtest link ?
  10. @ykotowitz- Yes, but it is a different trade; for your put spread, it was enough that AVGO staid above 235, for the call spread you (would have) started to profit from 239,92 on. In hindsight - with AVGO around 252 - the call spread is evidently the better choice, but what if AVGO just had staid around 238/239
  11. 150 % in 1 month ?? willing to share some trades you took ?
  12. Cost of transaction is not everything Some of the things I consider before opening acc: 1. Solvency of the broker, I guess if you change from TOS or IB, you won't improve yourself. 2. Liquidity/ Fills, say you do 1000 contracts (or 500 spreads) per month and have to pay an average of 0.01 more (compared to IB or TOS) to get filled, your monthly cost would be 40$/month flat fee + 500$ 3. Platform 1. and 2. are holding me back to open an account for now.

  14. @SteadyOptions Do I get this right : If we take for instance your account last year, you had around 12K in comm. With Tradiers offer this would be 480USD + exchange and regulatory fees. Is this right ? How much are exchange and regulatory fees per contract ? 10/15 cents ?
  15. Kim, Do you import your trades (opening/ closing) from IB or do you input trades manually ?
  16. 97.50C Jul29/Aug19 in @ .27 out @ .35 and .37 after comm + 22,2%
  17. Hi Yowster, thanks for the heads-up entered 97.50C Jul29/Aug19 @ .27
  18. @zafh and @optionideas Thanks. As Zafh suggested I started to follow @SteadyOptions
  19. Kim, What do you mean " you are not following the trade topics" (see screenshot) Since I am member (almost 2 years) I follow the trades topics from start and I NEVER changed it.
  20. Kim, Got no TRADE alerts in the last days by e-mail. in fact last TRADE alert I got was ORCL, Thursday last week (June 9) E-mail alerts for the discussions I follow come through. Could you look into this ? thanks
  21. @craigsmith Thanks for figuring out. This feature is not entirely the same (especially if there are multiple new posts). But it is close and it saves time. And since the new version separates the unread and read post with a blue line (if there are multiple new posts), one can quick distinguish new from read posts.
  22. should have mentioned it , you have to select "Forums" tab, then you'll see it
  23. Right under "View New Content" button you have "unread content"
  24. the video sure made me laugh.... This guy could be a "The Simpsons" character
  25. Hi Kim, Happy Birthday (belated, since it actually was Saturday). I want to thank you for the exceptional service you provide each day again. In the past year I've learned alot. Thanks for that. CJ
