  1. seeing the same on my end @rasar . You using Tradehawk or just Tradier (I'm Tradehawk). Frustrating but at least there are no urgent trades that I need in or out of for the rest of the day. I wonder if any of my GTC orders will fill if the prices are hit???
  2. A general question for the community. SO often times enters 1 day straddles and strangles 1 day prior to earnings. Would it be correct that entering these new positions on days like today when the "general market" IV is elevated is a bad idea and it's better to enter these new positions on days when IV is steady or even lower? I assume the IV of most individual stocks would be up when the general market has elevated IV and exiting on days of elevated IV is best. Thoughts?
  3. I will check with them today. I'm using Tradehawk through Tradier and they are always adding stuff but maybe Tradier has it as well. Thanks again for the direction.

  5. thanks for the quick response @Christof+. Unfortunately, I am using Tradier and not IB. But I will try to document manually over a few day. Just a little more time consuming.
  6. I have a question I hope someone can help me with. I just joined Chartaffair and love the data you get from it. Really helps with the SO trades. Here's my question. The graphs are great for day to day views, but is there anyway to see the "highs & lows" of a calendar or straddle by each day? I've seen some post charts like this on the SO blogs, but not sure if Chartaffairs has that ability. I'd love to be able to see the highs & lows of a calendar over the past 20, 30 days or whatever. I think this would be helpful for doing multiple iterations of a calendar trade. I hope Chartaffairs has this but maybe I'm just not seeing it? Thanks in advance for responses
  7. My IRA accounts were set up as "cash" accounts. Once we changed them over to "margin" accounts, all good. I hope this helps the next person.
  8. Folks- I am having some issues entering in the SO orders with my new IRA accounts I just transferred over to Interactive Brokers. Many times when I try to enter the short position (usually selling a call or put), the order line on the option chain will be red and I get the error message "cannot enter short order order for this type of account. Unfortunately, the IB support folks haven't been much help at all. I have had some go through so I think the issue may be that I need to enter the line orders in a certain order? Just wondering if anyone has some suggestions for me on this?
