  1. I also wanted to try tradier but found it doesn't have mobile app. so it is of no use. Now you have IB vs TastyWorks. There is no much difference IB vs TastyWorks from commission perspective. TastyWorks has good mobile platform easy to use. I just opened IB but going to close as I didn't like their mobile app & platform. It looks they built app long time back & hardly changed. IB apps I didn't fell user friendly like TOS or Tastyworks. If you deposit money in IB they will allow to us it after 5 days, such rules irritate me. But in Tastyworks it is not like that. I personally believe TastyWorks is changing brokerage industry. I don't agree with many ideas of tastytrade but from brokerage firm perspective I consider Tastyworks worth to try.
  2. I would suggest TastyWorks platform. IB platform looks age old platform. I opened account & now in process of closing it. If you have day job then Tastyworks is the best platform in terms of good platform, great customer service.
  3. Found I answer in optionNET help doc : “It is worthwhile noting that if one of your Option Symbols in a Position expires - you must close that Trade out manually - ONE does not automatically expire options. For example, imagine you have an Open Position that has as one of its constituent strikes a Call option with an expiry date of 22nd October 2011. If you do not close out this strike by 22nd October 2011 then when you subsequently access the Open Position for dates after 22nd October 2011, you will see the following error for each expired strike in the Open Position”
  4. in OptionNET report if trade expires, doesn't calculate P/L for that trade. what is the workaround to get p/L for expired trade? any idea?
  5. Folks, I want to backtest SPY strangle ( 16 Delta ) for last 10 years. How can I do with OptionNET software ?
  6. @Djtux I really appreciate & respect your point of view. As I told earlier I used to trade highly liquid underlying only. I am finding myself difficult to understand why I am not get filled when my price was higher than mid. It looks sometimes mid price not correct for thinly traded stock. This is great relief to know that someone who is at IB also impacted, so better to move on to next trade. Thanks once again.
  7. I am not sure whether we have thread for IB. But if we compare IB vs TastyWorks vs Tradier. Which provides best fill around mid price ? Most of our trades revolves around weekly options & moderately liquid underlying where efficient filling is very very important. Earlier I used to trade highly liquid underlying so never felt it is very important but now for pre earning trades it is must that we need broker who fights for fair fill. Anyone has experience to provide feedback around fills regarding those 3 brokers?
  8. I had worst experience with Tastyworks for fills for PANW. Looks issue is more visible in case of pre earning calendar. From fill perspective only do you see IB or Tradier better ? I always thought fill is not factor to consider as in open market everyone use same kind of underlying technology/counter party.
  9. Are they providing feature to import transactions to turbo tax ? Last year I paid around 2000$ brokerage. So it looks deal.
  10. Is there any good mobile platform that works with Tradier ? I can't access desktop during office hours. Does Tradier offer good mobile platform?
  11. Does this software work with tastyworks ?
  12. How many years of data available to back test? Is it possible to back test strangle since 2007 to till date with this software ?
  13. I agree. I used to trade like tasty trader & lost significant portion of net worth. chasing losing trade by rolling up/down strike, premium selling before earning announcement, maintaining short delta, all looks crazy concept to me now. I am glad that I woke up before I lose everything but it was little late.
