  1. Hi everyone, Quick update here: TW is happy to see if they can get us a better deal but they would really need to get a feel for what we're talking about here, both in AUM and volume. I can totally understand that you don't want to state those numbers here publicly, but please feel free to let me know by PM. Let's see where we can get...
  2. 👍 We will definitely need a lot more SO members here to weigh in, Trusty Jules has a point: they're re hard to impress by volume
  3. Hello all, Since commissions take a fairly huge chunk out of our profits, finding a good low-cost brokerage makes a huge difference in annual returns. The Tradier offer is extremely compelling and I recently tried to switch over from Tastyworks. I ran into some issues with Tradehawk and their mobile app is not working at all for me, which is something I can’t do without due to my lengthy commute during market hours (I’m based in Europe). This made me think if I couldn’t just get a better deal from Tastyworks. I contacted them and they were willing to talk if my volume was over 10,000 contracts monthly…..hmmmmm…not quite there yet. To have more negotiating power I would like to see how many Tastyworks users there are here and see if we can get a better deal for all of us based on our joint volume. So…please let me know if you use Tastyworks and would prefer a better deal! CJ912
  4. Same issue here
  5. Hi Jules, I'm currently in the application process, will let you know how it goes.
  6. I'm quite sure Tick Data has what you're looking for: https://www.tickdata.com/
  7. That 160Bn doesn't sit in Pure Alpha alone, I believe most of it is in All Weather
  8. Bridgewater is not your average hedge fund. In my day job, I have had quite a few meetings with them and there approach is extremely thorough and very interesting. I would definitely recommend Ray Dalio's books ("Principles" and 'a template for understanding big debt crises") for a better understanding of both markets and Bridgewater. Pure Alpha uses a combination of over 125 different trading strategies. As they say, they implement their decisions based on their understanding of the economic machine (see youtube link below). They identify timeless and universal drivers of markets, combining their views on macroeconomic drivers, intermarket action and capital flows. I would be surprised if there weren't a number of options strategies between the 125 strategies employed, but they will likely differ substantially from the SO approach.
  9. Has anybody opted fro the Tradier + ONE deal? Access to the OptionNET Explorer and commission free equity and option trading for $95. Sounds like a pretty good deal to me.
