  1. $2400 was long ago. Now its $7500 for all his latest material ! Their result is based on paper trading at mid price. They are not real fills. He discloses that. They have low risk, but at the same time have low returns compared to SO.
  2. I am a member of sjoptions. Their strategy is a lot more complicated than just naked or spreads. Some trades have 5 legs! Their trades have extremely low risk. But for a REG-T account their returns are also low compared to SO. But for a PM account their returns are very good. It's my personal opinion that their strategy is more suitable for a PM account only. I cannot say much as I have signed a Non Disclosure Agreement with them in order to become a member :).
  3. @Kim Any idea?
  4. Logically it is part of the probability distribution. We also had 18% profit months. But emotionally I have to think and decide
  5. Yes. But based on SO history, profits are more than loss. I am hoping it continues.
  6. I have an account at Tradier and ToS. With ToS I have portfolio margin account. I can buy around twice the number of contracts with the same margin at ToS because its Portfolio Margin. But its commissions are 0.5 per contract. Since commissions cost around 2% to 2.5% of the profits with SO, I wanted to move to Tradier. But I can only buy half the number of contracts because its a Reg-T account. This means half the profits (and losses) for the same margin. Assuming 7.5% profit month with SO, the profits with ToS would be double at 15%. But commissions would take nearly 5%, making the profits 10% per month. So, it would be 10% on average with ToS and 7.5% on average with Tradier. So even though ToS has commissions, the advantage of a PM account outweighs it. Is my thinking correct or am I missing something?
  7. Where can I buy historical data? I am looking for SPX data only. I need End of Day data for price of all option strikes along with their IV, Delta, Vega etc. I need this for all expiration dates.
  8. How to download csv reports from Tradier / Apex with commissions and fees? Is it possible. I can only find PDF files to download but not csv.
  9. So Tradier is comparable to ToS for fills?
  10. @Kim ?
  11. My requirements are: I do NOT care about advanced analysis and P/L diagrams. I have another software for that. Just need to execute orders. Fills should be comparable to ToS. So fills should be good. Has to have an android mobile app which can do multi-leg (up to 4 legs) trades. My current commission with ToS is 0.5 per contract and I have no ticket fee. Looking to reduce the brokerage drastically. Any suggestions?
  12. I see a HUGE thread related to broker selection. But it is difficult to find an answer for my requirements. My requirements are: I do NOT care about advanced analysis and P/L diagrams. 13. What is the $5 for? Ticket charge?
  14. Good to hear !
  15. What about portfolio margin? Many brokers don't even offer that.
  16. But Tradier does not offer Portfolio Margin . That is sad. Also what is the cheapest platform people use with tradier? Tastywroks offers portfolio margin though. But their commission is bit higher. But I heard that TOS (thinkorswim) offers better fills. Is that true? I currently have $0.75 per contract with TOS. I can get it down to 0.5 soon. Its a difficult tradeoff. TOS also has a good mobile app.
  17. For Tradier its $500 per year only? Unlimited trades for $500? I thought it was 35 cents per contract as per their website.
  18. How did you decide the direction to take?
  19. I am thinking of subscribing to Creating Alpha as well. I am a member of Steady Options. I see that it has a new section called Treasury options. What is that? Why does it need commissions to be low? My commission is 0.75 cents per contract with no ticket fee. Is it OK to trade Treasury options? @Kim Can you answer this?
  20. OOPS, sorry, missed it as they were pinned.
  21. I mean any new opening trades this month?
  22. I am a new member here. Hasn't there been new trades this month in SO? Also when will the performance page be updated with the latest trades?
