  1. @Christof+ Perfect, thanks ... now I remember doing that before.
  2. @Christof+ two questions about rescaling straddle and calendar charts: 1. How do we rescale y-axis after eliminating unwanted outliers that make the chart hard to read? 2. How do we set a user-defined y-axis range, mostly for charts where the after-earnings action is so extreme that the pre-earnings part is hard to read?
  3. @Christof+ Calendar charts went down sometime this morning ... is it just me, or is it a web site issue?
  4. @Christof+ When I export to CSV or Excel from upcoming earnings page, it dumps European number formats which my Excel doesn't process correctly ... is there a way to choose American number formatting?
  5. @TrustyJules The day it was so much trouble for me I was just trading the options stuff traded in this group, with plenty of cash on hand and way, way more "Option Buying Power" than I was using ... on the phone they said it was just because I used up my "Day Trading Buying Power", at top right on the Command Center Screen.
  6. @akito Happened the week of Feb 22nd ...
  7. @akito Everything you guys are saying is what I always understood for "normal" brokers. The issue is Tradier, they are weird. The trading restrictions are activated when you have used up your "Day Trade Buying Power" for that day ... see the Finra doc attached above.
  8. @TrustyJules As I said, Tradier does it weird and nasty (hopefully they will reform). Read the official Finra doc, I will try to attach ... I think Tradier is going by the "letter of the law" on this, and it seems to say that the $25k thing is only applicable to whether or not you can actually BE a pattern day trader. Anyway on the phone with Tradier they insisted on this "fact" over and over again, saying they know exactly what they are talking about ... PDT rules apply to RegT margin accounts whether you have $25k or $25mm of net liq. Main difference is, the more net liq you have the greater the "Day Trade Buying Power" ... so I jacked my account up to $250k to get some breathing room, but it still sucks, for example if you are day trading stocks you can use up $1mm in PDT buying power in a few minutes. I had a dim bulb on this because all my trading accounts for the last 15-20 years have been portfolio margin ... it was all a rude surprise to me. Finra_PDT_rules.pdf
  9. @Anderson317 Beware Tradier and PDT, they do it weird ... I got hit even though my account was > $100,000, they suddenly shut me down for new trades when I urgently needed to make an adjustment even though I had tons of margin and cash ... had to call them and get an exception so I could trade, but they warned me that I was liable for the max margin PDT thing and I might have to meet a "fake" PDT cash margin call ... fortunately that did not happen.
  10. Wow, really depressed about CMLviz after signing up and looking at some basics ... found this: They have dumped VXX completely ... can't back test one of the most important and interesting symbols. They can't even get a 6-month back test of SPY stock right ... prices and dividends are wrong. They don't exercise calls for ex-dividend, even if it's a 100% lock that they would be exercised ... any back tests involving these calls will be badly wrong (show a large loss on the calls that would not be experienced in real trading, unless the long was dumb enough to not exercise). It's impossible to back test a combo/conversion/synthetic (no capability for enforcing put strike = call strike or call strike = put strike) so can't back test a big range of interesting strategies ... can't even back test boxes! They don't have dynamic hedging capability ... so 90%+ of interesting back tests are impossible. There is no filter to specify trades around ex-dividend dates ... lots of interesting stuff there, but impossible with CMLviz. This thing is a toy, not a real options back test engine ...
  11. @Kim ... Right, sorry, I knew that topic was there and just spaced it out ... I can see how the continuity picks up from this one. So, repeating question just to be clear: There is no 30% discount as stated at the top of this topic ... just the $99 price?
  12. @Ophir Gottlieb ... @Kim ... What's the current SO deal on this? The link at the top goes to a $99 deal, but I can get that just going to the site directly, so no 30% discount as stated? Strange timeline on this thread ... wild activity up until October 2017, then sudden death ... did the activity move to other SO threads, or did everyone just lose interest?
  13. @Kim I got the same email ...
  14. Is there an ETA for the rollout of this offer (I'm just about to start negotiating with them)?
