Sorry to hear that. You're not the only one to make dumb mistakes; last week I lost a couple $k because I forgot about a GTC for double MU calendars and got filled while it was tanking. If you don't mind my asking, how is your broker helping you?

I forget the numbers. I don't think there's any way to do this w/o calling Tradier, so just call them and they'll answer all of your questions. Their customer service is excellent; 9 times out of 10 you'll get a person immediately.

Yep I don't believe you can have a margin IRA acct.

My IRA's aren't margin accts, but I've traded IB's (with shorts) on them.

Yes, but if I remember correctly you have to fill out paperwork to request a higher level. It can all be done electronically.

Same, here, but the problem is at Tradier. I had an order to close my LOW position, showed partial fills that weren't; cancelled and resubmitted, filled, but partial fill couldn't be cancelled. I called Tradier and they said there was some issue that they would manually clean up for me. Also cash available and total acct value were wacky. Joe said that would be fixed by tomoorw, not sure if they need to fix everyone's issues individually.

I've found (I believe others have suggested it too) that often when not able to get a fill it helps to break it into separate put and call spreads. Recently I couldn't get a fill on the June TLT IB evn for .04 less than the mid. I got immediate fills at the mid as two separate spreads.

Re taxes, I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was a 1099 on the bottom of the E-Documents page at the tradier site. To import it into Turbotax you need to log in to the Apex site, but it was easy to set up an account using your Tradier acct#.

If you're implying that you don't get CS w/Tradier, you're mistaken - it's excellent.

I don't know, I don't do trades from my phone.

And I don't see how anyone can ignore the vastly less flat-rate commissions of Tradier
