  1. Il try it again later, hopefully something changed.
  2. 1) https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/software/tws/usersguidebook/specializedorderentry/create_a_combination_order.htm 2) https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=47&v=4suN5RPR6ow&feature=emb_title Don't use mosaic. Use the traditional TWS tab. Enter the combo in one of the rows. The row under you want to put the other combos or legs. It is definiteley possible as I used the feature all the time, can't imagine they have removed it.
  3. It doesn't work well with hedged straddles though. At IB I used to put a sell GTC order for the whole straddle plus strangle with 15% target and next to that two individual orders for the short call/put with order to close for 0.05. If one of the three executed, the rest would cancel. Whereas now with tradier I can only put one order because you can't have two seperate orders for the same leg. Emailed them about it but they say its just the way it is, incredibly unlogical. So lets say you have one short call position (-1) And one order for buy to close (+1) You can't have another buy to close (+1). I don't understand the logic as the worst case scenario would be that both orders go through and you will just be long one call. No risk for the brokers whatsoever.
  4. Jup and its super extensive. I wish tradier had the same.
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SbYfTWbWcU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcgwuVSyimw (SO tutorial) https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/software/tws/twsguide.htm#getstarted.htm%3FTocPath%3DGet%20Started%20with%20Mosaic|_____0 There are many tutorials on the web. Experience using it will eventually make you familiar, I found it daunting in the beginning but I started to love the platform after a few weeks.
  6. There are some advantages with IB that tradier lacks. For example, OCA orders. For hedges straddles I would have the entire trade closing order open and next to it both short legs with 0.05. If one of them fills, other orders are cancelled. This makes it much easier to trade hedged straddles. With Tradier I have a closing order for the entire trade but have to monitor whether I can close the legs before.
  7. I am not a tastyworks user yet but if the deal is close to what we can get at tradier im in!
  8. Thats a real bummer, I hope they will fix this. I still can't open the app. Even the tradier dashboard via mobile gives me errors sometimes when modifying orders. I was out last night and had to guess whether I would be able to close the DOCU trade. I enjoy the low commision but they really have to step up their mobile game if they want to stay competitive.
  9. Anyone using the Tradehawk platform that is able to use the android app? Mine directly crashes after authenthicating.
  10. Update on reaction of IB: Combination orders will not always improve the bid/ask. SMART routed orders can be sent to the exchange or it can be held on IB's servers until they are marketable. As a result, a combo order that improves the bid/ask will not always reflect in the market data for the combo quote. Additionally, not all combinations or options legs are created at exchanges, and therefore are not eligible to be displayed in the quote. Seems vague as this was not the case in the past. And I don't fully understand what he means with marketable, does IB decide when it should show up on markets? I noticed that when I increase the combo quantity suddenly it shows up in the bid, if the combo is not marketable I can't imagine that changes just because I put an order in for more. The bid size does not reflect my quantity as well, it changes to 50% of what my order quantity is, they are mine since it instantly changes when I increase my quantity. Order quanity to bid size: 1=0 and no bid change 3=1 Bid changes 5=2 10=5 Not sure if im being picky here but I don't fully trust IB and I have the feeling it affects fill prices but that can off course be placebo as well. Edit: Seems its just coincidence that it suddenly does not show up in the bid since IB always does this according to the website so in theory it should not affect fill prices.
  11. Thanks for the replies, at least I know its not specifically to my case. If it doesn't affect fill prices its fine otherwise it is a big issue. Il contact TWS and let you know what they say. The blue thing happened to me sometimes but after a restart the problem went away. The bid not showing up is something new though...
  12. This only happens with combos. I was wondering if anyone has the same issue as me which does not show my order in the bid & ask. I haven't traded for a while but I have been putting some orders in. In the past, whenever I put an order above the bid, my bid would replace the existing one. For example. 4.0 x 6.0 Put order in for 4.5 Now 4.5 x 6.0 Now its: 4.0 x 6.0 Put order in for 4.5 Now 4.0 x 6.0 No orders have filled but I don't want to increase my price just to test it. Anyone have the same or have the time to test this for me? (With very wide bid and ask so your order does not fill) Maybe IB changed the way it works with combos so that the mid stays correct and is not influenced by combo buyers?
  13. Email is reliable, and if you are ''new school'' you should be pragmatic and find a solution that works for you.
  14. This will affect our strategy, any opinions?
  15. @SBatch or anyone using tradehawk. Can you check if CSCO august 17 incremental options are visible? so 41.5 42.5 etc. Contacted Tradehawk and their going to contact Tradier but since I'm paper trading I would like to know if you do not see them as well?
  16. Does anyone know if Tradehawk already supports OCA orders?
  17. Exactly what I was looking for, thanks!
  18. @Kim or anyone else that knows this. In the screen you see Hoog laag meaning high low. It shows prices which the straddle sold, it is not very accurate but still quite useful, where can I find this in TWS? I have looked everywhere...
  19. I rated and gave a comment on your service, I hate these fake reviews as well, good luck.
  20. Quick update: Managed to sell just now. Was promised to get an update from IB but haven't heard from them.
  21. @Kim Problem still isnt solved. Does IB work with any type of compensation? Because the stock is moving away sonsiderably from my strike and this could cost me easily 1000 dollars. Maybe commissions?
  22. Well I do not have any active orders, of any symbol, I cancelled everything to be sure. I only have one account with no active orders and it is telling me that I have an active order on the other side. There is no workaround from my side, even the guy at the trading desk says that it is a bug in their software. Please read greanspans post since he has had the same issues.
  23. There are no orders, that's the problem.
  24. Well he believed me after I sent him a screenshot. He transferred me to some guy in Chicago trade desk who also has no idea what is going on. He sent a ticket to another departement and he will get back to me. This is quite frustrating.....
  25. God this is exact the same thing that is happening to me. I already knew the problem calling but he insists that the order is on my screen. On hold now for another 10 minutes......
