Does anyone have any recommendations for api's for getting option data (real time) and delayed. I was going to look into using that and tradier's api to actually try and automating some of these trades. I was going to look into it anyways 😕

Email subject handling to easily manage mails

for(2). the subject doesn't differentiate though. What I want is for new topics and trades to come to my inbox while the rest go to a folder I can peruse later. Given the subject is the same, I cant create a filter. -
Hi @Kim, @Sbatch and @Yowster. I am trying to create a set of email filters so I can filter out the time sensitive alerts to the ones that I can read at the end of the day for educational purposes. To this end, I have a few asks: 1) I get the trades mail with the ones "Trades" in the subject so that helps. Would it be possible to add the portfolio "SO, TO, PV" in those too. I see TreasuryOptions is added, but the others arent 2) Is it possible to get a seperate subject when a topic is created. Right now, I cant distinguish a topic creation to a comment is added on a topic. For example, I would have liked to get the DG topic created subject differently today so i can then react and place my own trade based on the thesis. I got to know the topic was created much later only filtering through everything else. Thanks for all your help.

I just changed my TOS rate to $5 + 55 cents a contract. For the volumes I am trading with, this works out less than the .75 cents per contract I had before.

Sorry for the stupid question, but how is this better than the SO $40 per month unlimited trades offer. Is it because the trade hawk platform is much better than using the tradier website to place the trades ? Do you think we can get to 3000 trades per month to get the $0 rate if we just follow the CA trades. -

With TD Ameritrade and TOS, they are offering me $5 and 55 cents per contract. Is that a good commission rate for Steady Option type trades? I am planning to trade about 100k so basically so 10 times the contracts in the trade guidelines.

That's 17 dollars for 32 contracts. That's more than 50 cents per contract. Is that usual ? I have 55 cents per contract at TOS + a $5 so I was just comparing to that gven that I like the TOS platform better. Is this higher as they are SPX options ?

I am using the tradier website to place trades and I have the special offer but I think they are taking commissions. For example when I closed the SPX trade today, I had them in the 8/16/8 ratio and the place order form told me it charged me $17 for the trade. Does anyone else see that too ? It isnt very obvious from the website statements whether they are actually taking commissions but was wondering if you all knew any way to find out.

Last year was the first year that I had made a lot of trades. I had a question about taxes as to whether you all report the details of each trade in the tax forms since there are a lot now. Do you put down the entry/exit dates of each for each trade. It seems like a lot. This is for US taxes.

@NikTam what do your signals say about intu. I held in too long and now I’m caught between closing at a loss or trying to close on an uptick but not sure if there will be one.
