Alan Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) Has anyone had any experience with or an opinion about Motley Fool Stock Advisor? A review by Wall Street Survivor (can we trust them?) claims that they invested in the Stock Advisor's recommendations from January 2016 to the present and markedly outdid the S&P 500. Here is their review: https://www.wallstreetsurvivor.com/motley-fool-review/ Edited November 7, 2021 by Alan Quote

SunriseAl Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 (edited) I've subscribed to Stock Advisor since its inception. It's inexpensive but you need to sift through the hype to find the gems. Use it for what it is and ignore the constant ads for higher priced services. Their articles are generally short and superficial, but it's a great source for stock ideas. Use it with their discussion boards as a starting point for further research. If you are patient and Google their sales, you can get in for $50 a year or so. Also, take a look at Saul's board on the Fool. I think it's on the free side so you don't need a subscription. https://boards.fool.com/sauls-investing-discussions-120980.aspx Edited November 7, 2021 by SunriseAl added content Quote
tod Posted November 7, 2021 Posted November 7, 2021 I subscribed a few months back and after reviewing for a day immediately asked for my money back. Thankfully they returned it. They throw out so many suggestions they are bound to get some winners, purely by the "monkey throwing a dart at the stock page" process of picking. Knowledge of various strategies, technical versus fundamental, what works and doesn't work, a good screener and trading discipline will serve you better, IMO. Quote
