dahred Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Hey everyone, I recently sold a AAL call credit spread and received a credit of $11 with a collateral of $50. Please see details below: $11.5 Call 5/8 Buy $.28 $11 Call 5/8 Sell $.39 Upon expiration, both call and put options were worth $.01 each. I am still new to trading vertical spreads so I am not sure if I ended up receiving this credit or not. Can someone help? Quote
Kim Posted May 8, 2020 Posted May 8, 2020 Both options expired worthless, so yes, you kept the credit. Quote
MaJack Posted June 16, 2021 Posted June 16, 2021 You were lucky, and you kept your credit because both options expired. Quote
