JeffCarterLogistics 29 Report post Posted December 4, 2018 Folks- I am having some issues entering in the SO orders with my new IRA accounts I just transferred over to Interactive Brokers. Many times when I try to enter the short position (usually selling a call or put), the order line on the option chain will be red and I get the error message "cannot enter short order order for this type of account. Unfortunately, the IB support folks haven't been much help at all. I have had some go through so I think the issue may be that I need to enter the line orders in a certain order?
