During the April 2015 cycle, we entered a 3-week spread for $0.85 & $0.85, and exited at a loss for $0.77 & $0.73 The current 3-week spread trades at $0.57 now, which hints that prices are low. I bought the 4-week spread to have better liquidity using the Aug monthly options. 1 Quote
Kim Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 Thanks for sharing. I looked at FFIV, and it does look attractive. But we already have 4 calendars that provide better risk/reward historically. if you don't mind another one, this is a good option. Quote
Vancouver Posted July 17, 2015 Author Posted July 17, 2015 Closed the P115 trade @ $0.94 (19% gain). Since in the previous cycle prices decreased in the last few days before earnings, I prefer not to take the chance and close it now for a profit. Quote
