And, does 3000 contract include both opening and closing trades, for example, if I buy 10 contracts of TLT calls and then sell all 10 contracts next day, do they count this as 10 contracts or 20 contracts toward fulfilling 3000?
Same here. Can't say Tradier has better fills than my ETrade. It is actually the opposite. ETrade used to fill much faster and at much better prices. But of course commission would eat that away. So, I guess these brokerage choices are a zero sum game.
Did anyone try their platform yet? I just a watched one of their webinars on their option wizard OptionPlay platform and it seems very basic and it only helps to populate the multileg option trade into the trading page on their main site. Other than that, I could not see live feed of option quotes, bid/ask prices and where you can adjust your limit price depending on where the mid price is moving. How can you place a trade without seeing live feed of option quotes?
Any experience?
There is a lot of negative reviews on their Android app being too old and some people complained about funding practices. I guess they only do wire or check? Please let us know if anyone tries them.
I have looked around on their website but no further info on pricing other than saying $0 commissions. Do they charge a fixed monthly fee like Tradier?
For those of you using Tradier, have you been seeing a lot of your closed position Gains/Losses designated as a Wash Sale on Apex Clearing? I am always tracking my P/L using the Cost Basis report from Apex and there are too many Wash Sale positions and as a result, some trades are shown as closed for a loss, like our recent FB RIC.
Any thoughts? Has this wash sale issue been discussed somewhere?
