Very short of 27M. I feel I'm getting over my head. I need a walk.

My position is below. Not sure thinkorswin is calculating correctly. I have like 14K guaranteed profit in this riskless butterfly trade. I'm getting really nervous. Sold almost 1000 butterflies at various stikes. I have to hold this til expiration.

ended up with 400 butterflies and locked in 2K profit. I put in an order for a 1000 more flies but the broker put the kaibosh on me.

I reading bloomberg and IBD.

Okay, the madness has stopped for the moment. I tried to sell another 200 flies and not filling.

I just sold 135 butterflies.

Dude, I just got filled on a 30 lot for 10.58. Who's on the other side of this? I'm getting nervous.

This pot stock is up 400% since the IPO in June and up 11% today. 10 dollar wide Iron flies are trading for 9.99cr. I got a few at 10.01cr. Obvious a lottery ticket.

There are too many variables to just rely on CML TM results. You have to factor in volatility/pricing, fundamentals, technicals, and overall market environment.

Not an expert in second order greeks, but I think vomma would matter more if you trade naked strangles/straddles and concerned about the margin expansion. Since we only trade defined risk, explosions in vega/vomma won't change our margin. That being said, we deal with the standard 4 greeks a lot, especially with the earnings trades.

Thank you @Kim, @SBatch , @Yowster and all others members. I started trading in January and used mulitiple services. Happy I was able to find this service as I enjoy this style of trading a lot.

The directional trades have been very successful for me using trade machine. I think we are in a bull market so a lot of long strategies such as selling puts/put spreads and buying calls/call spreads have been working. I like to mix some directional trades with the SO long/short vega - delta neutral trades.

So when I logged in this morning I was able to use the pro scanner. I still have that window open, but lost the pro features when changing browsers. I think they are resetting to the two pricing tiers. We'll see what support has to say.

The pro scanner is live. I feel like a kid on Chrismas morning.

I think if you have a 100K+ account, then tradier is the best choice unless you are a gunslinger with position size.

That's the thing I like about tastyworks web platform. You can group positions easily and also create a journal for each trade so you can look back and search your trade history. But tradier flat commissions structure is hard to beat if you are a full time trader and/or doing 200+ contracts a month.

I don't have an ax to grind with Simpler Options because I did learn a few things after spending $1,500 on courses, but I did lose money on JC's strategies. I recently took a course where he was teaching students to use directional trades in the weeklies options to take advantage of the gamma with trending stocks. Worked well for a while, then I lost 20% of my account in the following month. Maybe just not my style. However, they are really good on posting videos and course materials after the class, so I am thankful for that.
