  1. Thanks Kim, this kind of videos are really helpful. I'm a newbie in Options and I started with TWS. The new version shows you the mosaic view and gives the impression that the "classic view" is old, but now that I see, I think it is a simpler and more effective way to use it.
  2. Thank you for the tip. I managed to add the legs as you suggested. Actually it's like building the trade again! I though you can setup the chart in the way that you select the option combo, e.g. from Orders list, and the Chart will show this combo automatically (with accurate values).
  3. Hi all, I allways have problems while looking at the charts in TWS for Options market. I would like to see the correct midpoint price in a chart. When I go to Edit --> Chart Parameters, I choose "What to show" = Midpoint and then in the chart I setup different time scales, but they are different. In attachment you can find 3 Pictures of today's price for the LKND RIC (30min, 5min and 1min bars), which show I don't have an option to see the charts different as Candles or price Bars. Is there a way to correctly view the midpoint price? If you have suggestions, I'll appreciate it, thank you in advance. By the way, I added a screenshot of my TWS version as well.
  4. Thank you both, I did get out at Friday, I didn't want to risk worthless
  5. Thanks, actually I have only one call because it was just a try. I have almost nothing of Profit at the moment, but is not a loosing trade. What do you think? Should I go out?
  6. Hi there, I'll appreciate if somebody can help me to decide if go out or keep in an active Bullish position: OCR Dec18'15 95 Call. I never experienced yet a merge and that is why I need some help. It results that OCR may be absorbed @18Aug by Tree Merger Sub, Inc (subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy, Inc). actually this is the information that I have: On August 18, 2015, Shareholders of Omnicare, Inc. (OCR) will vote concerning the proposed merger with Tree Merger Sub, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of CVS Pharmacy, Inc. If the merger is approved and consummated, each existing OCR Common Share will be converted into the right to receive $98.00 net cash per share. Then my question is, should I keep it or should I move out? Thank you in advance!
  7. Hi all again, after thinking about which broker should I choose and taking in consideration Kim's Brokers comparison advice, I finally open an account in IB. I thank you for your tips again! Best wishes and good trading
  8. Hello Kim, thanks for your reply, the minimum required is indeed 10k, I went forward with the application form. I will check the requirements from TOS as well.
  9. Hello Praveen and forum, I took your comment and I'm trying to open an account in IB. Anyway it says now: * To qualify to trade Options in a Cash account, your Liquid Net Worth must be USD 50,000 or greater Is this a MUST? I don't have such and it will take me a lot of time to have this amount of liquid worth. What should I do? Why are this exigences? Obviously I can lie, but I don't want to get in a mess. Does anyone has opinions/tips? Thanks in advance
  10. Hello praveen, I'm a newbie too (maybe even more than you) and I have interest on IB as Broker (I understood from SO forums that it's the best). I check to open a paper trading account and here comes my question: do I need at least 10k to open a basic account in IB? This is a big difference for starters in comparison to TOS, since they give you the free version for paper trading without using money. Am I correct? Thanks in advance
