I don't know who said it, but I like this saying: "drawdowns are the price you pay to keep your edge alive". If a strategy only made money and never lost, eventually everybody would be doing it and the edge would be gone. Also, and this is applicable to any strategy, if the drawdown you are experiencing is too much for you, you are trading too large. You could make trades half the size as the official ones and put the other half in BOXX or JAAA ETFs, for instance. You would still have incredible returns and half the drawdown.
