    I'm NOT a CFA, nor have I really looked into it. I am however a RIA (registered investment adviser), which is what you need to be in the US to mange portfolios and people's money. I can say I don't personally know anyone that has a CFA, that actually advertises it. Canadian requirements are quite different though.
